BUSINESS
AND
ADMINISTRATION
|
Administration
is
the key
to making
any
organisation,
regardless
of size,
run
smoothly
and
efficiently.
Through
the use
of office
procedures
and
systems,
administrators
are
responsible
for
supporting
the
business
in its
day to
day
activities.
This
means you
will have
to carry
out many
different
tasks
which
could
include
anything
from
monitoring
and
managing
information
to
organising
travel
and
events.
To
do these
tasks you
will have
to
develop
many new
skills
such as
communication
and time
management.
|
|
|
However,
on a
day-to-day
basis you
will
carry out
such
tasks as
filing
documents,
faxing,
sending
e-mails,
word
processing,
photocopying,
answering
the
telephone
and
dealing
with
enquiries
and
reception
duties.
By
completing
an
Apprenticeship
in
Business
Administration
you will
learn how
to
develop
these
skills
and how
to
organise
and
manage
your
duties.
You
will
train on
the job
and be
assessed
in the
workplace
and on a
portfolio
of work.
Throughout
your
Apprenticeship
you will
receive
help and
support
from your
Charter
Assessor.
Once
qualified
there are
many
opportunities
for
enthusiastic
people to
become
team
leaders
and
managers.
