DISTRIBUTION, WAREHOUSING AND STORAGE OPERATIONS

Distribution, Warehousing & Storage Operations is a specialised business ensuring customer demand is met within specific time scales.  Companies that carry out this function play a critical role in the buyer-customer-client supply chain in today’s fast moving business environment.

It involves a number of different duties including stock control and rotation and record keeping, with each playing an equally important part in the overall level of service provided by the company.  

In a distribution/warehousing role you will be required to maintain computerised records showing current stock levels, orders placed and received, security, receiving and storage of stock and handling customer enquiries.

By completing an Apprenticeship in Distribution, Warehousing & Storage Operations you will gain knowledge of all of these skills and the confidence to play your part in this important area of work.

You will train on the job and be assessed in the workplace and on a portfolio of work.  Throughout your Apprenticeship you will receive help and support from your Charter Assessor.
