MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Companies involved in the manufacture of products such as food, cleaning agents and cosmetics employ industrial chemists in the research, development and testing of new products. 

Laboratory Assistants and Technicians support the work being done by monitoring the tests being carried out and maintaining the various items of equipment.

Employed in a variety of manufacturing situations you will set up machines for production, monitor output and product quality, assess test results and monitor workplace compliance with statutory regulations.

By completing an Apprenticeship in Performing Manufacturing Operations you will gain knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation plus the various procedures applicable to your place of work.

You will train on the job and be assessed in the workplace and on a portfolio of work.  Throughout your Apprenticeship you will receive help and support from your Charter Assessor.
